Reading Strategy Game

This amazing game is one of the best ways for students to really pay attention to their reading and keep them on task.  Each student gets their own reading strategy game board, and they must listen carefully to the story that is being read out loud to them.  When they are able to use a reading strategy, they mark it off on thei board and when the teacher stops for student thinking time, they get to share how the strategies helped them better understand the text.
